After falling over and breaking my knee cap two years ago I was a little worried about getting out of the house again to go walking, which I love. So then I joined MePACS and now I feel much safer having my MePACS Personal Alarms, which work both at home and when I'm out. I love going walking in quiet spots and exploring new places and my MePACS mobile alarm now gives me much more independence and a feeling of security that if anything should happen I only have to press the help button and I'm through to the friendly people at the MePACS 24/7 response centre.
My family is very happy now that I have the home and mobile MePACS alarm and no longer feel obliged to come walking with me anymore as they know I've got 24/7 support. It's small enough to fit into my pocket and I call it my "helpful friend'. I think of it as a form of insurance. It's great to know I have the MePACS service but hope I never have to use it.
