After falling over and breaking my knee cap two years ago I was a little worried about getting out of the house again to go walking, which I love. So then I joined MePACS and now I feel much safer having my MePACS Personal Alarms, which work both at home and when I'm out. I love going walking in quiet spots and exploring new places and my MePACS mobile alarm now gives me much more independence and a feeling of security that if anything should happen I only have to press the help button and I'm through to the friendly people at the MePACS 24/7 response centre.
My family is very happy now that I have the home and mobile MePACS alarm and no longer feel obliged to come walking with me anymore as they know I've got 24/7 support. It's small enough to fit into my pocket and I call it my "helpful friend'. I think of it as a form of insurance. It's great to know I have the MePACS service but hope I never have to use it.

Having had a heart attack over 12 months ago now, I joined the MePACS personal alarm service to give me and my family peace of mind that if anything happened again I’d have the security knowing that help is available 24/7 from the friendly MePACS team.
It gives me confidence to go for longer walks as I was always worried going too far, but now the MePACS Mobile Alarm makes me feel more secure. It’s also great that my wife Mary Ann can take the MePACS Mobile Alarm with her when she goes to Bingo and I’m at home.
