Hugh is 88 years of age and lives independently in his own home. Hugh joined MePACS in 2015 as his his wife Ellen passed away in 2014, so now living alone he wanted the peace of mind that assistance was available if something should happen.
Hugh wife had the service for nearly 10 years and was very impressed with it so when he was recommended the MePACS 24/7 service in 2015 by his local council he didn’t hesitate to sign himself up.
“I needed a sense of security at home now that I was living by myself. The MePACS alarm service allows me greater peace of mind when I’m at home and it’s the human touch that has given me such a sense of comfort. Said Hugh.
“Having MePACS gives me a sense of security… I know I’m privileged to have the MePACS service.”

My family are also so pleased that I have the MePACS service which is available 24/7. My family need not worry as much about me now as they know I feel more confident living by myself – MePACS has given me a greater sense of security. When I told my son that I signed up to MePACS and my son said, ‘You have a bit of sense now Dad!’
Thankfully I haven’t had to press my MePACS alarm in an emergency situation yet, but every time I call the MePACS team to do my monthly testing they are incredibly polite and caring – They bend over backwards for me, they are just SO cool.
I would definitely recommend MePACS to others. I have already told so many people that they should get a MePACS alarm too – I couldn’t recommend the MePACS service highly enough”.
“My independence has been restored thanks to MePACS” – Hugh, Victoria.
