“I would definitely recommend MePACS to anyone considering a personal safety alarm. I feel incredibly reassured both when I’m at home or out and about.”
‘Wimpy’ lives in Melbourne and took up the MePACS Home and Mobile service six years ago due to health reasons. He is prone to falls and his brother was always receiving calls from doctors and the hospital saying Wimpy wasn’t well. “My brother said to me. You better sign up (to MePACS) or I’ll disown you”. Said Wimpy.
“It gives me peace of mind that should I require emergency assistance I would able to speak to a real person at MePACS. My friends and family also feel reassured that help is available for me 24/7. I can’t fault the staff at MePACS, they are terrific.” Said Wimpy.
“Wearing my mobile alarm when I’m out and about makes me feel good and very reassured that I am safe wherever I go.”

Whether I am at home or out and about I always make sure that I am wearing my MePACS alarm. My mobile alarm is always on charge when I’m home, I never forget to put my MePACS alarm on. Wearing my mobile alarm when I’m out and about makes me feel good and very reassured that I am safe wherever I go – it’s added peace of mind and security. If I didn’t have the mobile alarm I don’t think I would feel very comfortable leaving my home.
There was a time when Wimpy needed to press his MePACS mobile alarm. “I needed to press the mobile alarm when I was out and about one day as I was feeling very uneasy on my feet. My vision was getting blurred and I needed help. I pressed my MePACS alarm straight away and within minutes the MePACS responders were on the line and organising an ambulance for me. This arrived very quickly and I was taken to Frankston Hospital, where I stayed there overnight until I was well enough to go home the next day, I am very thankful help was quickly on hand.
I would definitely recommend MePACS to anyone considering a personal alarm. I feel incredibly reassured both when I’m at home or out and about” said Wimpy.
